Press Release 9/5/2019 – New Storytime Programming
Alamosa Public Library is pleased to announce the return of Storytime sessions for the fall with a slight change in previous meeting time and format. Fall Family Storytime will begin September 10 and run through November 29, with one session every Tuesday and Friday morning, starting at 10:30 a.m. Sessions will be mixed age, with all ages and stages welcome. There will be early literacy enrichment free play before each session from 10-10:30 a.m. Join Children’s Librarian, Ms. Holly, in the APL Story Room for a joyful Storytime that will be interactive, educational, and fun for everyone.
Now that Alamosa Elementary has early release days each Friday, you may be looking for something fun and educational for you and your children to do on Friday afternoons. Come to Alamosa Public Library for a story and activity session geared toward elementary-age students. Join Ms. Holly from 1-2 p.m. every Friday beginning September 13 for stories, silliness, music, games, crafts, and even special guest stars. While each week may hold something new, literacy enrichment will be at the heart of every session.
Parents and guardians please be prepared to stay for each session, because “big kids” enjoy Storytime, too!
