Press Release 8/6/2019 – Weekends on the Rio August 10-11

The summer fun continues this weekend with Alamosa Parks and Recreation’s Weekends on the Rio events this Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11. Activities are free and open to all ages and will continue until the end of August. The schedule changes slightly every week. The weekend’s activities will include:

Saturday, August 10

9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Farm Park Work Day @ The Rio Grande Farm Park

Sunday, August 11

11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Zumba @ Cole Park

12-1 p.m. – Youth Lacrosse Clinic @ Cole Park
1 p.m. – Outdoor Yoga @ Cole Park
1:30-3 p.m. – Pump Track Skills Session @ Cole Park
3-6 p.m. – Paddleboarding @ Blanca Vista Park
6:00pm – Sundays at Six Concert- The Jauntee (Jamband)

6:45pm – Storytime / Book Bike@ Cole Park
6:45pm – Percussion Lessons – During Concert Intermission
