Press Release 8/22/2019 – Community Budget Input Meeting

The City of Alamosa is hosting a community meeting on Wednesday, August 28 at 6 p.m. at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center, 2222 Old Sanford Road, to review and receive comments from the public regarding the proposed budget for the Fiscal Year 2020. Citizens with an interest in the City’s budget are encouraged to attend the meeting to become familiar with the budget process and provide input.

This is a valuable opportunity for residents to become familiar with the budget process, learn about the revenue and expenditures in the major funds, review community Capital Improvement Projects, and express their opinions. Suggestions from the public are encouraged and will help us become more familiar with community priorities and understand how to better-serve residents.
