Press Release 8/20/2019 – Weekends on the Rio August 25

The final Weekends on the Rio events hosted by the Alamosa Parks and Recreation department are this Sunday, August 25. Activities are free and open to all ages. This weekend will mark the end of our summer-long programming. Check back next summer for more fun! The weekend’s activities will include:

Sunday, August 25

11 a.m. Zumba @ Cole Park

12-1 p.m. – Youth Lacrosse Clinic

1 p.m. – Outdoor Yoga @ Cole Park

3-6 p.m. Youth Fishing (15 and under) @ Blanca Vista Park

3-6 p.m. – Paddleboarding @ Blanca Vista Park

6 p.m. – Sundays at Six Concert-The High Vibes (Funk Rock)

6-8 p.m. – Storytime / Book Bike@ Cole Park

6:45 p.m. – Percussion Lessons – During Concert Intermission
