Press Release 6/4/2019 – Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale
Books, Books, and More Books!
Alamosa, CO –Friends of the Library (FOL) will have their biggest sale of the season June 7 and 8 at Spines, located off the alley just north of the Post Office. Innumerable books collected over the winter will be available in addition to the usual stock. There is definitely something for everyone; maybe even that rare volume you have been looking for. FOL just received a large donation of music CDs that have not even been unboxed yet.
Come by Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Saturday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Prices remain at previous low rates. Cash or check is the only method of payment accepted. Persons who have joined as a Friend of the Library receive 20% off Spines’ purchases. Dealers welcome.
Friends’ monthly used book sales fund special projects at the library, the Mobile Book Bike, literacy programs, and the Little Free Libraries.
Volunteers are needed for sale dates and other FOL programs and activities. Contact Rhonda at 719-580-2010 for sales information and Allyn at 719-588-9410 to volunteer. Book donations may be made at Spines on sale days and at the library during business hours.
