Press Release 6/25/2019 – Theater of Mystery with “Mr. E” and Kyle Groves This Wednesday at 10
Alamosa Public Library’s (APL) Summer Reading Program continues to explore the outer reaches of space! This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories,” and each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in June and July, APL and patrons will explore something spacey with a visiting performer. Last week, patrons experienced what it is like to work in a space suit and learned what it takes to reach rocket lift-off with hands-on program Science Matters.
This Wednesday, June 26, APL welcomes father and son magicians Ed “Mr. E” and Kyle Groves, who are bringing their Theater of Mystery to the Library. The program encourages children and adults alike to reach for the stars through magic, comedy, music, audience participation and family fun. Expect the unexpected.
Registered readers can come a few minutes early to collect the beads they have earned through the Read for Beads incentive program. Registration is open online or at Alamosa Public Library. Go to alamosalibrary.org or call Children’s Librarian Holly Van Hoy at 719-589-6592 for more details.
