Press Release 6/12/2020 – Virtual Storytelling June 17

The Alamosa Public Library is pleased to announce a live virtual performance for all ages by Emmy-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist David Williams! Join us on Wednesday, June 17 at 10 a.m. via Zoom as part of the Library’s Summer Reading Program (SRP).  Williams will present Oh, The Animals!, featuring songs about animals of all stripes with cartoon animations and various instruments. Visit alamosalibrary.org/summer on the morning of the event to click the link and join.

The theme for this year’s SRP is “Imagine Your Story,” and centers around fables, fairytales, folklore, and legends.  While many may be staying close to home this summer, readers can go anywhere using their imagination!

  • Weekly Literacy Enrichment Challenges & Project Packs
  • Raffle Prizes
  • Virtual performances from beloved past performers as well as new
  • Imagine Your Puppet Show video submissions
