Press Release 5/29/2019 – Book Giveaway at Alamosa Public Library
Non-profit group Kids Need to Read (KNTR) donated 320 new books to Alamosa Public Library through their Grow Your Library program in January 2019. Now they are bringing even more books for the families of the San Luis Valley! KNTR board member and Grow Your Library program founder Gary Mlodzik and his wife Tina Mlodzik will travel to Alamosa Public Library for a special Storytime and book giveaway event on Friday, May 31 at 10:45 a.m. Tina will share a few of her favorite read-aloud books, and each child will go home with a new book and a Highlights magazine. Gary will also explain the pay it forward aspect of the Grow Your Library program so those in attendance can help Alamosa Library’s children’s collection grow even more. The Grow Your Library Storytime event is open to children of all ages and stages.
