Press Release 3/25/2020 – Parks & Recreation COVID-19 Update
As COVID-19 and associated restrictions affect all of us, we remind everyone that the City of Alamosa has an extensive park and trail system. With the recent addition of the 200-acre plus Alamosa Riparian Park, the City’s outdoor amenities include 13 parks and over 23 miles of trail. You must continue to practice social distancing and handwashing recommendations when you are using City trails and parks.
Park amenities like playgrounds, tables, benches, etc. are inspected and cleaned regularly, but it is impossible to keep them disinfected.
Recreation Staff are also looking at ways to bring stress-relieving workouts to you at home via posts from our professional instructors to our website.
