Press Release 3/2/2020 – Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday at the Library
Join Alamosa Public Library as we celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Friday, March 6 at 1 p.m. in the Library’s Story Room.
Enjoy a reading of one of Dr. Seuss’ classic books, snack on green eggs and ham, decorate a perfectly “Seussical” cupcake, and compete for the most zany Seuss-inspired hats at the crafting table. Make a “One Fish, Two Fish” finger paint puppet and have your picture taken with the famous Cat in the Hat. Come by the library at 300 Hunt Avenue in Alamosa any time the week of the event to put your guess in the “One Fish, Two Fish” guessing jar and you could win a prize on the day of the event. Try your luck in the raffle where you could win your own copy of one of Dr. Seuss’ classics.
All ages and stages are welcome to join us in this silly celebration of a beloved children’s author and a beloved children’s pastime – READING!
