Press Release 3/10/2020 – Reading Ranger March 17

Alamosa Public Library’s partnership with Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve continues with this year’s third session of the Reading Ranger program! Reading Ranger is a traditional Storytime program that introduces children to what a Park Ranger does in the community. The 40-minute program focuses on the Ranger’s passion for the library and, using books about the area’s plants, animals, cultures, history, sky, Great Sand Dunes, and the National Park service, seeks to inform children about the natural world right in their backyard!

The next session of Reading Ranger will be held on March 17, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at Alamosa Public Library. A park ranger from Great Sand Dunes will be ready to read stories and share knowledge of baby animals in Colorado. It is sure to be an informative and entertaining Storytime! All ages are welcome. No registration is required.
