The City of Alamosa is accepting entries now for the fourth annual “Alamosa ARTscape” art-on-loan outdoor public art exhibit. Alamosa ARTscape is open to professional and amateur artists. Applications will be accepted online only at www.callforentry.org. Application deadline is February 17, 2020.
Art will be selected by jury in March 2020 and installed on September 18, 2020 as part of the Alamosa ARTs Festival on September 18 and 19 in downtown Alamosa. Installation will be followed by a public-invited artist’s reception at Society Hall on Friday evening, and chalking and other events with partners Society Hall and the Alamosa Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

After April 5, 2020 – Selection Notification
September 18, 2020 – Installation
September 18-19 2020 – Alamosa ARTs Festival
Sculpture purchased for permanent placement from past ARTscape exhibits includes El Pastor by Huberto Maestas; Old Goat and Longhorn by Amyas Maestas; Trouvaille by Kasia Polkowska; Running Girl by Harold Linke; and Sandhill Cranes by Ken Cable.
