Press Release 10/22/2019 – Cemetery Clean Up Day

City crews will be at the Alamosa Cemetery on Monday, October 28 for a thorough cleaning of the cemetery grounds. Maintenance staff will dispose of items that are not permanent and left at gravesites. If there are items you would like to keep, you must pick them up before Monday, October 28 at 8 a.m.

The City is also currently checking unpaid cemetery spaces marked as “reserved” for more than one year. If these spaces remain unclaimed and unpaid by December 31 2020, they will be made available for purchase to the public. Please contact Danny Govea at (719) 496-7368 for additional information.
