Press Release 1/6/2020 – Sweater Weather Storytime Plus New Programming for Early Release Days
Alamosa Public Library (APL) is pleased to welcome one and all for Storytime sessions this winter. Free Sweater Weather Storytime sessions are held every Tuesday and Friday morning, starting with family playtime in the Story Room at 10 a.m. followed by stories and songs at 10:30 a.m. Sweater Weather Storytime sessions are mixed age, with all ages and stages welcome. Warm up this winter with Children’s Librarian, Ms. Holly, in the APL Story Room for a joyful storytime that will be interactive, educational, and fun for everyone!
School is back in session, and Friday afternoons in the Library are free. Join us for Weekend Kick-Off Kids Club, a story and activity session geared toward elementary-age students. Ms. Holly takes the lead from 1-2 p.m. every Friday where we will enjoy stories, silliness, music, games, crafts, and even special guest stars. While each week may hold something new, literacy enrichment will be at the heart of every session.
Parents and guardians please be prepared to stay for each session, because “big kids” can enjoy storytime, too!
