Liquor Licensing
Liquor Licensing in Colorado is a dual authority, meaning that the City of Alamosa carries out the process as set out in the Colorado Liquor Code and administered through the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division. Please see the documents on the links for more information.
Records Custodian
The City Clerk maintains all public records. Citizens may request to view or receive copies of records by clicking on the Open Records Policy and Request Form. Many public records are available on the City’s website. Additional historic records may be accessed directly from the Public Records Search computer at City Hall.
Elections
The City Clerk is the Election Official. Regular elections are held on the first Tuesday in November of odd-numbered years, and are generally conducted as a coordinated election with Alamosa County.
Boards and Commissions.
Citizens are encouraged to participate in local government by serving on a board or commission. Please see the link for a complete description of each board, including any current vacancy opportunities. Applications are accepted on a continual basis. Applicants must be City residents, verified through voter registration.

The City Clerk maintains the Code of Ordinances. The Code is available through Quick Links.
City Council Support
The City Clerk’s office provides clerical support to the City Council. Council meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. The City Council meeting agenda packet is posted under the Agendas tab on Fridays prior to the meeting.
Municipal Court
