The Alamosa Police Department has closed the in-person request window at the Police Department (425 4th Street) to adhere to social distancing recommendations and to minimize exposure to COVID-19. You can help maximize our accessibility to you during these restrictions by making requests for police reports via email, mail, or phone. Dispatch non emergency line: 719-589-5807. Alamosa Family Recreation Center and Public Library are closed until further notice.
City parks and trails are open, but please be aware that it is impossible to keep park equipment disinfected.
City playgrounds and pavilions are closed until further notice.
City tennis courts are closed until further notice.

City Hall is closed. Appointments for official City business can be made by calling the appropriate City Department here: https://cityofalamosa.org/contact-us/staff-directory/, or by calling the main number at 719-589-2593 and asking to be connected to the Department you need. Utility payments can be dropped in the payment box outside, mailed, or paid online: https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/alamosaco/utilities. Municipal Court fees and fines can be paid online at https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/alamosaco/court/search or dropped in the box outside City Hall.
There are envelopes for all payments inside the drop box outside City Hall if you need them.

Rec Center Members: We will extend all active memberships as of March 17. Those with monthly, semi-annual, and annual memberships will see an extension equal to the number of days that the facility is closed. Recreation Center: (719) 589-2105.
LEISURE SERVICE PROGRAMMING SUSPENSION
As the COVID - 19 outbreak evolves, The City of Alamosa is following recommendations from the CDC to limit and slow the spread of the virus. Based on current recommendations from the CDC, all organized recreation and library programming, including youth sports practices and games, and adult fitness/cultural enrichment classes, are temporarily suspended until further notice starting immediately on Monday, March 16, 2020. We encourage you to make the best choice about using a public space, especially if you're in an at-risk category or caring for someone in an at-risk category. Thank you for your help in caring for our community.
NOTICE REGARDING COVID-19 AND MUNICIPAL COURT OPERATIONS:
The Alamosa Municipal Court remains open and dockets are still to proceed as scheduled. However, we understand the concern about COVID-19 and request the following:
For those who are scheduled to appear for Court, the following will apply:
- Social distancing is encouraged and courtroom access will be limited to only those who are required to be there. (i.e., Defendant, Witnesses, Attorneys). All others will not be permitted in and should stay home or wait outside City Hall.
- If any scheduled defendants have concerns regarding exposure to COVID-19, they may request to continue their case or appear by telephone. Please contact the court at (719) 589-2272.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE MUNICIPAL COURT if:
- You have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and you have not received a subsequent test confirming that you are currently virus-free;
- You have been in direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past fourteen days;
- You are experiencing any signs of illness including: fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any other respiratory illness symptoms.
If any of these criteria apply, please call the Clerk’s Office at (719) 589-2272 to reschedule your court date or request to appear by telephone if you are not represented by an attorney. If you are represented by an attorney, contact your attorney to file a request for a continuance or a telephone appearance.
If you are subpoenaed as a witness in a case, please contact the attorney or party issuing the subpoena to explain the circumstances and discuss the options available.
