Alamosa, CO- On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Main Street will be closed from Denver Avenue to Edison Avenue from 6:00 am to approximately 12:00 pm while the City of Alamosa re-paints the drive lane markings.

The City will also be placing temporary reflective tabs down to help identify the drive lanes. This is considered a temporary fix until warmer weather allows for a chip seal resurfacing treatment that will be placed in mid- to late-May. The chip seal will be placed to cover up the old lines entirely.

Businesses can be accessed by sidewalk from any of the side streets. No on-street parking will be permitted on Main Street for the duration of the project. Westbound Highway160/Main Street traffic will be detoured onto Fourth Street during construction hours. The project is expected to take 5-6 hours.
