The City’s drinking water is groundwater sourced from the aquifer. There are 8 active groundwater wells. The City also has rights to water from two ditches for irrigation and non-potable uses. The water is stored in 3 water towers, Craft Tower, Foster Tower, and Ross Tower(non-potable). About 930,000 gallons of water is delivered to homes and businesses every day in the winter and 3,000,000 gallons per day in the summer.

Water Treatment Plant
At the treatment plant water goes through membrane filtration on to remove the naturally occurring arsenic in our water and chlorine is added to disinfect the water and make it safe to drink
